Since 1984, Fluorsid Active Metals is producer of high grade titanium Powders and granules, and trader of raw materials. Its real strength is in offering application optimised powders developed through close consultation with their customer. Fluorsid Active Metals is able to offer other specialised metal powders including Silicon, Ferro Silicon 45%, Ferro Titanium, Calcium Silicide, Chromium metal and pyrotechnic grade Aluminium.

Important markets and industrials are served: civil and military pyrotechnics, advanced coating, metallurgical alloying. Fluorsid Active Metals has a long history of working closely with Universities and research organization to develop and optimize their powders for new and emerging applications.

Nicholas Goodricke

Studied Material Science and Engineering at the University of Surrey.  Spent 10 years developing advanced powder metallurgical process plant with Phoenix Scientific Industries in the UK. In 2007 he joined SFM in Martigny, Switzerland to optimise and commercialise their inert gas atomisation facilities. He became a member of the board of Directors in 2010 and since 2014 he has been Managing Director at SFM.  In 2013 he was appointed member of the board of directors of Solikamsk Experimental Magnesium Plant in Solikamsk, Russia.  In 2017, following the acquisition of Active Metals he took on the combined responsibility as Managing Director of both SFM and Active Metals.

Nicholas Goodricke
