The training course of the project involving the students of the ‘IIS Michele Giua’ of Assemini has concluded. The five most deserving pupils were awarded in the school’s auditorium.
The last meeting was held on June 4th with the students of the ‘Michele Giua’ Higher Education Institution of Assemini, who participated in the project “Beyond the matter with FLUORSID”.
A unique opportunity to discover and understand the chemical company, its products and its production process based on the principles of circularity.
The seminar path, started with the visit of the plant led by the Site Director Daniele Tocco, allowed the students of class 4R of the Applied Sciences course to attend six training sessions, during which they were able to see closely the most significant processes of the FLUORSID production cycle and engage in the various processes leading to the characterization of materials.
Through the use of innovative and technological precision instruments, the students participated in the educational and experimental activities proposed within the chemical laboratory of the Assemini plant and at the laboratories of the CeSAR (University Research Service Center of the University of Cagliari), coordinated by the chemical project manager, Claudio Cara.
During the last meeting, in the Aula Magna of the Institute, the three working groups presented, through a presentation, the knowledge acquired during the training course and the five most deserving students were awarded. For each of them, a voucher which can be spent in electronics stores.
