“Inside the matter with FLUORSID”, the training project designed to bring the new generations closer to the world of the chemical industry, kicked off with a visit by the students to the Group’s main production plant. The initiative, realised in collaboration with the IIS “Michele Giua” of Assemini, involves the students of the third class, section R, in an educational journey combining theory and practice.
Through six formative days, the students will have the opportunity to learn more about the functioning of the chemical industry, with a special focus on processes aimed at sustainability and circular economy. The activities will also take place at the laboratories of CeSAR (Centro Servizi di Ateneo per la Ricerca dell’Università di Cagliari) where students will be able to experience the use of advanced precision instruments.
Protagonist of the 2025 edition will be LIFE-SYNFLUOR, a project developed by FLUORSID and co-funded by the European Union under the LIFE programme, which aims to optimize and validate an innovative technology developed and patented by FLUORSID, which will enable the reuse of industrial by-products implementing circular economy processes.
An important project that helps building a bridge between the world of industry and the new generations, in order to create together a future under the banner of innovation and sustainability.
