In the framework of the municipality of Silius, in the presence of numerous citizens, the municipal council and actors involved, the award ceremony of the “Conte Carlo Enrico Giulini” scholarship was held. The winner, Danny Vincenzo Fois, a recent graduate and currently enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Cagliari, was awarded by the Major of Silius, Antonio Forci, Marianna Putzulu for FLUORSID, and Mauro Tuzzolino for the Fondazione Carlo Enrico Giulini, in appreciation of his commitment and in support of new goals, with the hope of a bright future full of opportunities.
‘’Awarding this prize to a young citizen is an occasion to be celebrated, a real honour for the municipality and a valuable achievement for Danny, whom we wish all the best for his university career and hope he will achieve great things now and in the future‘’ said Antonio Forci, Major of Silius.
Mauro Tuzzolino, Project Manager for the Fondazione Carlo Enrico Giulini, continued – “It is essential that youth, guided by virtues such as tenacity, passion and love for their land, can give real support to their home territory, also through education and the acquisition of new skills”.
“People, training and professional growth are essential values for FLUORSID, which prompted us to promote this initiative once again” said Marianna Putzulu, Marketing and CSR Manager at FLUORSID, who went on to conclude: “Through our projects, we are constantly working to enhance the territory, focusing especially on young people, the heirs responsible for the development of this region which is the custodian of the history of our company, that started here 56 years ago”.
